Jacob Jubal Miller Notes:	Jacob Miller was of Dutch descent and a native of Pennsylvania, he was one of the Pioneers of Kentucky, having come to the state sometime prior to 1800.
Notes:	Jacob Miller is controversial. He has been described as descended from the Dutch and born in Virginia, a farmer who died 15 in Warren Co., Ky. It is thought by most researchers that he came from Bucks Co., Pa. and that he was German. He is thought to have been born about 1758. It is likely that he was born in Bucks Co., Pa., migrated to Virginia and on to Kentucky. It is known that he was in Montgomery Co., Va. in 1787 and that he bought 701 acres of land located on the head of Raccoon Branch in Drapers Valley in Pulaski Co., Va. in 1797. In 1807, he sold this land to Jacob Miller, Jr., perhaps his son. Beyond this, accounts are sketchy, and dates have been put together from other facts. He married Margaret ("Peggy") Penner in Pa. Both are buried in Green River Union Cemetery, Warren Co., Ky. His will was written June 25, 1833, and was proved in April 1834 term of court, thus establishing his death in 1833 or 1834. Margaret was born around 1762, and as she was not named an heir in his will, it fs-~i~~med ~~e di~d beiore June 25, 1833. It is believed they came to KY before 1800.
Notes:	The Miller name is found in Warren Co., KY records as early as 1798. One record says Jacob Miller was born in Germany 1725. carne to Berks Co .. PA. and then to Frederick Co .. Md . He_could have been the first of three Jacob Millers. Jacob Miller born in 1758 in Berks Co .. PA enlisted in the Revolutionary War Julv 25. 1776 and was discharaed July 20. 1779.
